Researchers believe that blue light can play a refreshing role in certain situations, such as when people have to work overtime at night, or when driving a car at night.

  Blue often symbolizes tranquility and cleanliness in people’s feelings, but blue light has recently been found to have another special purpose.

  Dr. Steven Rockley and colleagues at Boston Women’s Hospital found that blue light can eliminate sleepiness at night if someone wants to expand their sleepiness and stay focused.

This interesting study was published in the February 1st issue of the Medical Journal of Sleep.

  A study of 16 volunteers showed that blue light can stimulate people’s emotions and help maintain vigorous production and expel drowsiness. On the contrary, people are prone to drowsiness at night without blue light.

  Researchers believe that blue light can play a refreshing role in certain situations, such as when people have to work overtime at night, or when driving a car at night.

But a lot of experimentation has to be done, and doctors believe that increasing the intensity of blue light can damage the eyes.
